Welina ke aloha iā ʻoukou e nā Kumu Hula! ʻO Kaponoʻai kēia. Mahalo a nui no kēīa hui ʻana me ʻoukou a pau. It is an honor to be included on this Huamakahikina site and look forward to working with you all on this very important declaration for all Kumu Hula. I live on the island of Maui with my ʻohana and have the fortunate pleasure of learning my legacy hula from my makuakāne hānai, Kumu John Keola Lake. My hālau, Nā Hanona Kūlike ʻo Piʻilani was formed in 2003 and I have the priviledge and honor to continue to teach my haumāna the traditions that we come from.

I look forward to engaging with all of you for the betterment of all hula practitioners that love our ancestral wisdom and for those that are willing to learn.
